Equipment Check & Verification
Verifying your equipment is present and in working condition no longer requires the use
of paper and pen! This mobile friendly, web-based platform provides an easy interface to
facilitate an inspection of the visual status and functional status of any item in your
inventory. The system can be configured to allow checks every so many days, specific
days of the week or on specific days such as every 3rd Friday.
Checks may also be segregated or assigned to be completed by assigned shifts, groups, or
teams.
Not only can users verify inspection, but if there is a problem with a piece of
equipment, they can log the problem and your chief or maintenance officer will be
alerted.
Again, the platform is accessible from any web enabled device. Multiple crew members may
simultaneously complete checks on large pieces of apparatus or work through different
compartments or drug bags while automatically updating the vehicle inventory.
Each piece of equipment can have individual inspection intervals for visual inspections (the item
is there) and functional inspections (the item was exercised and verified to be working).
Employee/Member Tracking
Our Employee/Member Tracking Module eliminates the reliance on paper rosters that often go
missing within a week of printing. The hassle of searching for phone numbers, email addresses,
or emergency contacts is now a thing of the past.
Our online roster provides a quick and convenient way to access the information you need,
whenever you need it. Staff members can update their profiles at any time, ensuring their
contact details are always current.
This module also manages the tracking of employee/member issued equipment. It
not only maintains an inventory but also monitors what needs to be returned when a member or
employee separates from a department. The platform allows for quick identification of the gear
assigned to each member, including pagers, uniforms, bunker gear, bailout harnesses, and any
other issued items. Departments can input expiration dates for equipment (NFPA) or require
members to check their gear at regular intervals to confirm they still possess it and that it
remains in working condition.
Finally, our platform enables departments to monitor member time. Whether through individual or
bulk entry, the time members spend on alarms or responses, training, and/or service can be
swiftly recorded and tracked for accountability, incentive programs, or departmental
qualifications. Organizations can tailor this feature with their own category definitions and
track/report on up to six categories.
The Employee/Member Tracking Module is designed to monitor, report, and notify members about departmental
requirements, including Physicals, Medical, Fit Testing, and annual training needs such as workplace
violence, blood-borne pathogens, or SDS usage. A feature has been implemented to facilitate bulk entry
of training records, simplifying data input.
Additionally, we have introduced a certification tracker that logs expiring certifications, with
system-generated reminders and notifications to inform members and management of approaching expiration
dates or those that have already lapsed. This tracker can also be utilized for documenting training
sessions, in-services, or other certifications that do not have an expiration report.
The certification tracker enables users to upload images or scans of their certification documents, which
members can print or download as needed.
Station Duties
The Station Duties module allows administrator to create a schedule for users to complete and
document station duties. From daily cleaning or weekly truck washes to other service intervals
such as applying a coat of wax on the chief’s vehicle on a quarterly basis, this module makes it
easier to schedule and monitor the completion of duties related to an organization’s station(s).
Robust Reporting
What good is a checklist if there’s no way to view the status of items or vehicles?
Public Safety Check offers a comprehensive reporting system for equipment and vehicle
inspections, as well as service and maintenance status and history, inventory status and usage,
member rosters, certification reports, and more. We even provide a report tailored for your
financial auditor!
Multiple reports can be set up to automatically generate and send updated analytics to selected
staff members or vendors at your chosen intervals. At any time, authorized users can manually
execute reports and tailor them for specific time frames, vehicles, and additional criteria. All
manual reports can be easily exported in various formats or emailed whenever needed. If you
require a hard copy for a presentation or prefer a paper filing system for your department's
records, the platform offers a straightforward way to print reports in a clear and readable
format.
